Welcome to my little, humble spot on the web.  I am so glad you're here and reading this.  Blogging is something that is very time consuming but also very important.  Important to you, as a potential client, and important to me to keep myself accountable and present in my galleries and to monitor (and appreciate) my growth.  Over the course of the years, I have done a multitude of types of sessions.  And over the years, I finally figured out what my favorite and specialty is- the art of newborn photography.  After this realization, I also knew that aside from just a newborn photographer, I wanted to specialize in Houston Fine Art Newborn Photography.

About this newborn photography session

You know what I love most about newborn pictures?  The smell of their sweet fuzzy little heads.  That's different, right?  haha, I embrace my uniqueness and let me explain.  You see, I have two kids of my own.  And each time I do a session, it makes me remember my own babies.  It helps me to hold onto those moments that I desperately cling on to.  Moments that, at the time, didn't necessarily register how HUGE they were going to be, but moments that I desperately NEED to remember.That first cry.  The first glorious cry that you hear when your baby is born.  That warmth when you do skin-to-skin for the first time- physically and a warmth in your heart that is so overwhelming and so time-stop worthy- all you can do is cry when you look at this little human in your arms.  The toe curling pain when they latch on for the first time, but you keep doing it because that's what our bodies are designed to do and you'd do anything for this little thing.  And if you chose not to nurse, let me not forget those sweet little noises that our babies make when they drink milk of any kind.  That noise that sounds like comfort and love all coming from this tiny soul.  And then the smell of their fuzzy heads.  The freshness, the smell that I'll never forget... I can't forget it.  The smell that reminded me that they once lived in my belly, but now, I hold them in my arms.  The feeling of comfort that only I or my husband could provide.  Those moments- let me never forget.  Pictures take me back in time and I am so grateful for them.  Thank you for bringing your babies to me so I can go back in time and remember just how much moments mean. 

What makes me different than other newborn photographers in Houston?

What exactly is Fine Art Photography?  When you come to me, I want to make your experience like no other that you have had.  I want you to remember our time together and my clients leave my studio at the end of their session clients-turned-friends.  We meet and talk on the phone to plan each session together, spend as much time as we need at your session and after.  I help from wardrobe all the way up to which pictures you want hung in your home.  It's an experience that I know I want to offer to every person who walks into my world.

Houston Fine Art Maternity Photographer - Edna

Have you ever gone through images from your past?  When you do, do memories come rushing to you?  The smell of the house that the picture was taken in, the way it was decorated (beautiful to you despite how dated that image looks these days to others), the sounds that were going on around you.  It's incredible what one image that you hold in our hands can create.  In your heart, in your mind, and the tangible memory that just a single portrait can do for you.  I met Edna and her sweet family back in May.  Being a Houston Fine Art Maternity Photographer, my goal is to create these tangible memories for each one of my clients. 

What do these documented memories look like?

Perhaps these memories will be for big sister.  The way her mom looked that evening when we did this session.  Having two kids of my own, I can completely relate to the feeling of extra weight, love wrinkles, some on my hips, some on my thighs and on some days... just not feeling beautiful-especially because of how quickly our bodies change during pregnancy.  But good heavens, the way that her oldest looked at her that night.  I think in that moment, big sister thought her mama was the most beautiful woman to walk the face of the earth.  And I agreed that night.  But those looks.  They demand to be documented.That happiness, the smell of the new summer blooms, the sound of the crickets, those annoying mosquitoes that aggravate nearly everyone, but the laughs we all got from it, and the pats coming from mama's tummy of a new life that soon will be earth side.Let me not forget the daddy!  They seem, sometimes, to get lost in the hustle and bustle of this new baby and new everything.  I will never forget the way that my husband looked the day he met my kids for the first time.  He explained to me that the tears that rolled down his face each time, were not only pure and perfect love for my children.  But that they were overwhelming sense of relief, happiness, and of course love.  Love.  Dad's provide safety and a love that is immeasurable and like no other.  Very unique to a man, but very needed.I am so grateful I played this part in this documentation of this part of their lives.  I hope sweet Edna and her beautiful and perfect family cherish these memories for many years to come. <3

Houston Baby Girl Photographer

I have started to catch up (again) on blogging and am so extremely excited to get into the fall craze with client pictures that is coming very soon.  Being a Houston photographer, juggling work, family life, and everything in between, there is just always a bit of crazy!!  I would not have it any other way! ;)  Up next on the blog is this Houston Baby Girl Photographer session, sweet Charlize. 

About this Houston Newborn Photography Session

We took to my South Houston (Pearland) studio to document this fleeting time for this sweet family.  This session was shot in May and I just loved the way it all turned out.  Charlize was SUCH a beautiful baby and I was honored when my husband's cousin reached out to me to be their Houston Baby Girl Photographer!  We did this session in the studio about 10 days after Charlize was born, which I have found to an ideal time to photograph a newborn session.  Photographing a newborn around this age is important because it’s easier to create those adorable posed photos while they are still sleepy and squishy.It is SO essential we document that newborn phase before they grow out of it (which happens insanely fast).    Charlize had a lovely head of hair which made it fun picking out headbands for her session.  I loved her froggy pose on the mint color blanket so much, its now a 20x30 canvas in the studio for all to see!  The family and parent photos from this session are some of my favorites too.  They chose one of my popular Baby Collections with multiple sessions throughout baby’s first year, so I will be seeing them often over the next few months and I can’t wait to watch Charlize grow!

Houston Fine Art Newborn Photographer, Mac

Whew!  Blogs, blogs, and more blogs.  I just want to take the opportunity to shout out to the rooftops how incredibly proud of my colleagues I am.  You know, when I decided that I wanted to pave the path to become a Houston Fine Art Newborn Photographer, I did not wholly recognize how much work goes into this job.  From blogging, to staying relevant on Google, to emailing, to styling each session for the parents, from sending contracts, retainers, invoices, and sooooooooooo much more, I feel like anyone who owns their own business really deserves a huge pat on the back.Do not get me wrong, I would have it no other way, but I do feel it is important to note that when you book a session with me, it goes far beyond just clicking a picture with my camera.  Literally, my blood, sweat and tears (some happy, some not so much) has gone into this career and I am SO happy you're here and you support this hard work.  So for that, thank you.  And to all my colleagues in the industry... you ROCK, you really do!  Up next on the blog is sweet Mac! 

About this Houston Newborn Photography Session

We took to my Houston newborn studio to document sweet Mac's arrival and very first few days of his new little life.  We included parent and sibling shots, which are always a joy to me.  Mac was such a sweet little guy.  He is the first BOY for this family so his parents really wanted to incorporate muted boy colors to keep his session timeless and gender appropriate.  His parents are UT fans so we made sure to incorporate some burnt orange into his session with one of the prop shots.  Big sister was so excited to be included and was just so easy to work with.  I love it when siblings make my job easy!When mom and dad hired me to be their Houston Fine Art Newborn Photographer, I was over the moon excited.  I especially love that since I am a full service photographer, that their experience does not end at the session.  It goes beyond that.  We meet a couple short weeks later to go over their images together, and also to pick out collections that fit their needs best.  We talk about the first few weeks of their new life and it gives us all a sense of knowing one another better.  I love my job.  I love my clients.  This really is a dream and I am so grateful for the trust they have in me. <3

Outdoor Houston Maternity Photography by Taryn Melgoza

Happy Thursday everyone!  I am so excited to be sharing yet another maternity portrait session (I cannot get enough of these baby bumps, you guys)!   I think for me, I love these Outdoor Houston Maternity Photography sessions so much because of what's to come for these amazing families that I get to see.  New life, new baby, new everything.  It's incredible to watch the growth and love and see it right in front of my very eyes.  Man, I got a little mushy there for a minute, but that's ok.  That's how I roll.  And have I mentioned lately how much I love my job?!

About this Outdoor Houston Maternity Photography Session

We took to my favorite field that's on private property just south of Houston.  Of course, with all these Outdoor Houston Maternity Photography sessions, I just love using natural light.  It creates an ethereal and dreamy feel for these beautiful maternity pictures.  Since this was their first baby, no other siblings were photographed (maybe one day, right?!).  We used a maternity dress that mama brought and also one of my blue gowns from my studio wardrobe.This couple was so excited to meet their first baby, a sweet baby girl.  They wanted to document their pregnancy with a beautiful maternity session that focused on their love and excitement surrounding the arrival of their baby girl.  Mama is absolutely GORGEOUS so it made my job too easy.  We chose a favorite location among my clients located South of Houston on private property.  The location was perfect as it allowed us to focus on the connection of this lovely couple and also gave us some beautiful dreamy evening light.  It was shot in May of 2016 and they just welcomed their baby girl in late June.  I photographed her newborn session and can’t wait to share it!  They booked one of my popular Baby Collections with multiple sessions through baby girl’s first year of life, so I will be seeing them again very soon (and I cannot wait)!

Here it is!  The official announcement for 2016 Fall Mini Sessions!  I would love to document your Houston Family Portraits this year in one of my Fall Mini Sessions.  There will be two dates and locations this year:--Saturday October 15th, regular fall minis in the Houston area--Sunday November 13th, Christmas Tree Farm minis in Manvel

Signs up will open THIS Thursday August 18th at 6pm. I will be using an online sign-up system to reserve time slots this year. **Please make sure you add yourself to the newsletter as the link to reserve your time slot will be sent by newsletter first!Subscribe to the newsletter HERE

Details: There will be a $50.00+ tax deposit to reserve your spot along with a completed contract.  Your remaining balance will be paid 3 days prior to your session. In the event of rain, I will offer a reschedule date or you may apply your deposit to a full session. An online invoice will be sent one week prior to your session for your remaining balance.

Each client will receive 10 edited digital images with print release.  The photographer will choose the best 10 images from the session and will deliver an online downloadable gallery. By signing up for a mini session, you understand that the images you receive are chosen by the photographer.  Additional images may be available for purchase.

Houston Styled Children Portraits

Happy Wednesday, everyone!  I hope you are all having an amazing week.  This week has already been busy with several newborn sessions, a one year portrait session, and a fun girl's night (or mom's night) out watching the new hit movie: Bad Mom's.  For us mom's, it was such a funny and relatable movie.  I highly recommend!!  We've also been watching the Olympics every night and its been so much fun to see these amazing athletes compete!  Any who, next up on the blog is sweet Caraline and her Houston Styled Children Portraits and documenting her big 6th birthday!!!

About this Houston Photography Session

Baby Girl Cake Smash Houston Photography, Elle

It seems like I have not blogged in a while.  So welcome, how are you guys doing and I sincerely hope that if you are following along in this journey with me, you are enjoying seeing me grow as an artist.  Up next this week is sweet Elle and her Baby Girl Cake Smash Houston Photography session.  We took to my favorite field to document this sweet time in her life for her cake smash and family session.  We shot this session a couple months ago and we had so much fun. 

How we styled this baby photography session in Houston

Since this was this precious' family's first baby, I really wanted to style this shoot well and intentional.  Because that first year milestone is so imperative and so special, I wanted my clients to feel how special this time really is.  I had the pleasure of photographing this family’s maternity and newborn photos in 2015.  So I was honored when they contacted me to document Elle’s first birthday portraits.  It's always such an honor.  Mom had a lovely themed picked out for Elle’s party.  She brought several of these items to use as props during the session.  We started the session with some family and parent poses.  I believe these are always mandatory to include in a first birthday session.Then the rest of the session focused on sweet Elle!  We incorporated several floral touches and the popular ruffle teepee (a client favorite!)!  We wrapped up the session with a cake smash…Elle wasn’t too sure about the icing but that is common since it IS a sugar overload!  I absolutely love the way this session turned out and I know the parents will treasure these images for years to come.

Oh man, have I expressed my joy for sitter sessions?  If not, I want to go ahead and take the time to express it now: I LOVE SITTER SESSIONS! :)  Having this little one's parents hire me to be their Baby Boy Houston Photographer, I was just so thrilled to be a part of their story.  I also loved how baby sister hung out behind the camera to get those genuine smiles that I just love.  I love when siblings come to help because it gives them a chance to feel like they are a part of this big picture while being the "grown up one."We stuck to Cora & Violet's adorable hoodie rompers, warm wood tones, and my white wood backdrop.  I loved this session because since Maddox is a baby planner client, I had the pleasure of photographing his mom’s maternity session, and his newborn session.  So watching him grow is a true joy for this year.  They came back to visit me at the studio for his sitting milestone session and we had so much fun dressing him in my studio wardrobe clothing and getting him to smile!  I also incorporated one of the props from his newborn session to show how much he had grown.  We also used a wood bowl, my log bed that I adore, a favorite blue bear stuffed animal from his very own nursery, and of course, one of Luneberry's sky blue flokatis.Here are the highlights from this adorable session!

Baby Boy Houston Photographer

After blogging all things baby for a while, I figured it would be a great opportunity to blog this Maternity Photography Session Houston!  We took to my handy dandy favorite field here in South Houston and it complimented this session so perfectly.  This was mama and dad's first baby so it was just such a fun session to be a part of.  The newest and truest of loves is when you welcome a new baby into the world.  I.can't.even.  <3Stephanie wore my purple maternity gown from my Houston Studio for this session as well as a more simple and casual look to give it a couple different vibes throughout the session.  We shot this session in the morning at my favorite private field location just South of Houston.  Morning time is not my preferred time for natural light portrait sessions….but I loved the outcome.  Mom brought two amazing outfits and then borrowed my purple gown from my studio collection.  She looked so amazing and could totally tell she felt amazing, too.  She had her hair and make-up professionally done early in the morning a few hours prior to our portrait session, which I always highly recommend (if you need someone, be sure to let me know!  I have been using the same girl for a while now).Professional hair and make-up photographs amazing, holds up well in the intense Houston heat, gives my clients some much needed pampering, and makes my clients feel their best for their session.  For more information on how to book a session, be sure to get in touch or drop me a line.  I would be thrilled to hear from you.  And for highlights from this session, be sure to keep scrolling below.

Maternity Photography Session Houston

Happy Wednesday everyone!  I just love doing Baby Photography Houston sessions.  If you couldn't tell, it's probably my all time favorite thing to shoot.  Although, it seems, that all of my sessions that I do- maternity, baby, sitter, and milestones sesssion... well, even family sessions... it all surrounds my favorite- newborn baby photography.  I don't know if it's the new life, the precious time, the organic nature of a newborn, the purity, or what, but newborn sessions just give me all the feels.  So as I blog this, if you haven't noticed- it sure is giving me all those feels.  ;)  Anywho... enough about me... and more about this perfect session.Maddox was born in July of 2015.  Since shooting his newborn session, I have also done some milestone sessions, so I figured- why not blog where it all began?!  So here we are!  Big sister joined us on this session.  She was so amazing- patient, kind, loving, and obedient.  She understood why we were doing what we needed to do and listened very contently.  She will be such a great influence on him.Mom contacted me about photographing her maternity and newborn sessions last summer.  You can see her gorgeous maternity session here.  Thank goodness we were able to photograph her baby bump before Maddox arrived as he decided to be born one week after her maternity session.  Big sister Grace Anne was such a sweet and loving big sister and I adore their sibling images.   Maddox was born with an amazing head of hair so that was super fun to photograph!

Baby Photography Houston

Hey Everyone!  I hope your weekend went well and you had a great July 4th holiday with your family celebrating this amazing country!  Besides the intense heat, summer has always been one of my favorite season.  We have been enjoying tons of water activities outside and I just love seeing my kiddo's smiles are just stretched from ear to ear!  We have all loved the quality time we have been spending together as a family during these warm summer months.  Mush-y feelings today, but I love it.  It's who I am and maybe that's why I love my job and owning my very own Houston Tx Newborn Photography Studio.  Up next on the blog is sweet baby Milo.This precious family was referred to me by an existing client of mine.  It really humbles me when my clients-turned-friends loved their experience with me that they decide to share it with their family and friends.  This is this sweet couple’s first baby.  And boy, is he loved!  This was one of my first sessions to use my new barn wood.  I just love the warmth and feel it gives to the images.  Mom and dad are also so gorgeous and super photogenic, so they really made my job as easy as it can get.We took to neutral colors- grays, warm wood tones, navy blue accents.  Basically- earthy tones that compliment baby boys so incredibly well.  Timeless. Houston Tx Newborn Photography Studio

Summer is upon us, folks! <3  Summertime for me marks so many fun moments and I just love getting to enjoy it with my babies.  Speaking of babies, I decided to share a sweet baby girl Houston Tx Newborn Photography Studio session with you today!We took to my Houston newborn studio to do this session (where I do all of my sessions).  Let me set this up for you- mama and baby arrive, I find out that they follow the newborn prep to a tee, it's warm and cozy in the studio for baby, a little hot for me and mama and dad (haha), and it just all feels right.  This was one of those sessions where everything goes exactly as planned.  A sleepy baby girl, a cooperative big brother, easy posing, and a gorgeous family.  A newborn photographer's dream come true! <3I absolutely loved this entire session and will definitely remember it as one of my favorites from early this year.   This family contacted me as a referral from another photographer friend in the area who happened to be booked.  I love it when the local photography community works together to support each other!   It also works out that this family happens to live just a few minutes away from my former home studio so it was super convenient for them but also nice to make a new mommy friend in my area.  For her session, I made sure to use a variety of colors and props keeping it all girly and sweet.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful start their weekends!  I am so thankful that Houston got some sun this week and we got through the rain and flooding!  I decided to share this super sunny Outdoor Houston Maternity Photographer session in lieu of this beautiful weather.We took to my favorite field here in Houston and when I started to talk with Danielle and her family about what they envisioned for their Outdoor Houston Maternity Photographer session, she wanted to do a maternity session and include family portraits.  Grace Ann (big sister) was also a focus in this session, and I just loved her.  We originally got rained out the first time we scheduled this session, so we had to reschedule it.  I definitely think we made the right decision in doing so, because these maternity pictures were just so dreamy!  The light gave this session an ethereal and dreamy look to them, which is what I strive for in all of my portraits.  Life with a newborn is so beautiful and the anticipation of meeting them for the first time really does feel dreamy and too good to be true.  Moments that you never want to forget.Danielle wore pregnancy so beautifully and big sister was at the perfect age to love on mama's sweet baby bump.  And at the end of this session, we were blessed with a rainbow just overhead. Of course I had to photograph it!  Over the course of baby’s first year, I had to honor of photographing his newborn, sitting, and one year sessions and it was such a joy to watch him grow!  I can’t wait to share his newborn session with you soon!

Houston Pearland Newborn Studio

Happy Tuesday friends!  What better way to start your day than with this Houston Pearland Newborn Studio session?

Meet newborn baby Jackson!  All the heart eyes, guys!  Being that these were first time parents to this newborn baby boy, we decided to stick with neutrals to style his session.  It was a perfect, timeless, and classic touch to this adorable session.  This included many muted grays, blues, and some touches of tan and browns as well.  This was my very first session using my new barn wood flooring and I absolutely love the texture and warmth is adds to my newborn sessions.

This sweet mama is also a huge fan of Harry Potter, so she brought along her Harry Potter wand, a “Muggle Born” hat, and all of the books from the series to incorporate into a Harry Potter themed shot.   I also purchased the little white stuffed owl for the finishing touches on this themed set.  I just love adding these personal touches to a newborn baby session because it really creates an environment where mama and dad.  It just seems so orchestrated to who they are, and I strive to document that in all of my sessions.  We also used my log bed and the brown bear lovie to create a snuggl-y and sweet boy newborn session that these parents will cherish for a lifetime.

As a side note- these client’s purchased an custom accordion mini album from their ordering appointment as a gift to themselves and to each set of grandparents.  These accordion mini albums have quickly become one of my client’s favorite fine art products.  It’s the perfect little brag book to carry around and show off to family and friends!

Houston Newborn Studio Session

Happy Friday, everyone!  Here I am, still chugging along with blogs posts from 2015! If you have stayed up to date on my blog, I am grateful and thankful for you!  The next Houston Newborn Studio Session I decided was sweet Elle's.  She had the chubbiest cheeks that ever was and I just loved her so much.  I am so grateful to get to document these new lives.  Who knows- maybe one of them will be the next president, or the next Albert Einstein.  It's just so crazy to think how quickly time goes by and how fast these sweet babies grow.  I just sometimes sit back and think how awesome of a job I have.I first met this family when I had the honor of documenting their maternity session.  You can see that super dreamy and beautiful session here.  Elle's parents are some of the most beautiful and sweet people, so of course their baby girl is just as beautiful!  I wanted her Houston Newborn Studio Session to reflect just how gorgeous she is so I chose to use various girl colors including: mint, purple, rose pink and floral accents. This was one of the first newborn sessions that I ever incorporated flowers into and it quickly turned into an obsession for me!   Baby girls and flowers sure do belong together, in my honest but usually right opinion!  ;)Elle had an amazing full hear of black hair so choosing the perfect headband’s for her hair was so fun.  We finished the session with parents and newborn photos and I am so in love with how they turned out. Their love is just so palpable and it truly shows in their portraits!

Houston Newborn Studio Session

Houston Maternity Session

I hope that everyone's week is going well and I am so happy to get back to blogging.  I got a little behind to spend time with my babies and sweet husband over the weekend, but I wouldn't let it get me TOO far behind.  I understand how important it is for clients to not only see my newborn work, but also my Houston Maternity Session previews!  :)  I also strive to keep my content up to date and fresh, so that my clients can witness my growth.  It's super special to be able to grow as an artist and entrepreneur, and I am just lucky to be able to document all that beautiful growth!  Now, onto this awesome natural light Houston session!Meet Shayla and that glorious baby bump of hers.  Such a sweet and beautiful mama.  Motherhood is amazing, and she sure does wear it well.  We also made the focal point of this session about the big brother twins.  We had so much fun, but I sure had my work cut out for me with twin boys.  The best kid of work, that is! <3  It can be hard to expect a two year old to follow instructions, so its best to just go with the flow and let them have fun!  The results will mean so much more when you capture REAL life and let them be themselves.  It's one of my favorite things about documenting all these beautiful Houston Maternity Sessions, and I find that those are the images I cherish most.I have known this family for several years.  I had the honor of first working with them for their first maternity session when mom & dad were expecting twin boys!  I also photographed their newborn session and that was a huge milestone for me as it was my very first twin newborn session.  I am thankful they reached out to me to document their pregnancy and newborn session with baby #3…a sweet and gorgeous baby GIRL!We did this session last May and mom really stressed that she wanted to avoid the Houston heat.  My good photographer friend Catherine Lubbat has an awesome studio location in downtown Houston, and she was gracious enough to let us use this as our location for their indoor maternity session.  The clean white walls, stained concrete, and sheer window coverings create for a dreamy yet clean palate for sessions in this location.   And I absolutely LOVE the results!

Houston Maternity Session

This week has turned into a great and productive week.  I am so grateful to work and be an entrepreneur.  It definitely has it's pros and cons, but mostly pros!  Up next on my featured sessions is this Baby Girl Houston Photography Studio session!  Meet baby Campbell.  Campbell has a big brother but mom and dad decided to showcase this little love all by herself and brother stayed home.  It made this time with her super special and we had so much fun with her cake smash!  We took to my studio for this session and we used an adorable floral romper from my studio wardrobe, a purple lace romper, and a pink and gold sequin dress from Little Trendsetter.This was one of my loyal clients in which I did their first child's maternity session.  I was so honored and grateful for the chance to reconnect with them and share their amazing news for baby number 2 being on the way.  They wanted me to document both Baby Girl Houston Photography Studio session (both newborn and one year old session).  So it felt right to share her one year old session with you now!!They chose the studio as the location and I planned several sets to work with Campbell's mom's ideas.  We started the session with my favorite….flowers!  Then used the popular purple floral bonnet for a few shots.  These are always some of my client’s favorite images.  Who doesn’t love a baby with a flowers on her head?!?  Mom then had a vision to create a pink and gold themed set similar to Campbell’s first birthday party theme.  She brought in gold balloons and a smash cake to finish off the look.  This was such a fun and unique shoot and I hope you love scrolling through the highlights as much as I loved putting them together.

Baby Girl Houston Photography Studio

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Memorial weekend with their family!   We had some gloomy days this past week so I'm thankful the sun graced us with its presence on Saturday.  I can't wait to blog that session, but first, this Houston Lifestyle Maternity Session is up next on the blog.  We did two maternity sessions for this sweet mama.  The first one, we took to the outdoors and used a gorgeous cranberry gown coupled with a beautiful outdoor Houston location.  To see highlights from that session make sure you click here.During our time communicating and planning this session, mama mentioned she would love a Houston Lifestyle Maternity Session as well.   I loved her vision for the lifestyle session.  She also wanted to incorporate her two dogs into a few of the images.  These indoor lifestyle maternity images have easily become some of my favorite Houston Lifestyle Maternity Session pictures to date.  It also helps that this client’s home is absolutely stunning.  We finished the session with a few images in baby’s girl’s amazing nursery which was decorated mainly from Restoration Hardware and Pottery Barn.  Swoon!  I just adore this session!We styled her outfit with some adorable lace shorties from Amazon.  She also got a large slouchy sweater that showed off her adorable baby bump.  Be sure to keep scrolling to see more highlights from this session.  And be sure to drop me a line if you're interested in a Houston Lifestyle Maternity Session.

Houston Lifestyle Maternity Session

It's Thursday you guys!  We almost made it through another week.  I am so blessed to do what I love and going through these sessions just reminds me day in and day out how grateful I am to my clients.  So if that's you, or if that is going to be you... thank you.  From the bottom of my heart.  I will forever be grateful.  Ok, onward from the mush! :P  Next up on the blog is this Houston Newborn Photography Studio session!  Meet sweet baby Emily.We took to my studio here in Pearland (map below) to document this amazing session and this fleeting time for this family.  We did this session in February and I am so excited to share it.  Earlier this year I had a vision to create a floral wall for my Houston Newborn Photography Studio as I am obsessed with flowers.  It took me a few weeks to determine how to put it all together and I love how it turned out.  I happened to finish it the night before Emily’s newborn session.  I just had to use it when she came to visit my studio for her newborn session.  Emily is the first for this couple and is so incredibly loved.  We used the floral wall, a lovely blanket from Modern Burlap with a scripture, and even incorporated some antlers for one shot (both mom and dad love hunting as a hobby).To see more from this classic and timeless Houston Newborn Photography Studio session, be sure to scroll below.  As always, if you'd like to chat more about sessions with me, drop me a line.  I would love to hear from you! <3
