Up next on the blog is sweet Grady!  I was so thrilled when Grady's parents decided to book me as their Baby Boy Photographer Houston.  They decided to go with my most popular baby planner packages.  These packages are so super fun for me because I get to watch these adorable babies (and families) grow.  Being that Grady was the first child, it always makes each session really important and memorable.We took to my Baby Boy Photographer Houston studio to document this sitter session.  I provide wardrobe for my clients to choose from (all the from maternity gowns up to children's options).  For most of Grady's session, we used the wardrobe from my studio collection.  I love to provide clothing for my clients because I know the colors that will photograph nicely, makes for a cohesive collection throughout the year, and just really helps to relieve stress on the parents...and it's just one less thing to worry about for their session!  All we need is the sweet baby and perhaps some food/milk to keep baby happy and I have the rest covered! :)  However, if my clients have a certain look or outfit in mind, they are always encouraged to bring that as well!Grady was super smiley and had rolls for days (the cutest kind).  We had fun playing dress up.  Mom also brought in a baseball cap for Grady to wear and I loved how those turned out.  It just really made this session personal, yet beautiful.  I always encourage a few naked baby photos in my milestone sessions as well.  It's always good to document their rolls at this age because they are adorable!  We all know those sweet baby rolls don’t last forever (until they come back into adulthood ;) ).If you loved the highlights from this session, be sure to drop me a line in the comments!

Baby Boy Photographer Houston

Chugging along this week and decided to post this sweet Houston Family Photography Studio session this morning.  Meet the Haywoods! Marissa and I met while we were both working at BP years ago and we have kept in touch through Facebook.  As life progresses, we both became moms and our families have expanded.  It had been several years since we have seen each other.  I was so excited when she contacted me to photograph her family early this year.  She wanted to document her youngest son’s fist birthday as well as capture their family at their current stage in life with her two adorable and handsome little guys!  Because I love to document families having fun and being themselves, these are some of my favorite kind of pictures to take.  We were even able to include her grandfather in some of these shots.  Pictures are true treasures and I know that her and her family will treasure these images for many years to come.We styled this session with earthy navy blues, grays and organic colors that photograph really nicely.  We used our natural light location for this Houston Family Photography Studio session and I just loved the way these turned out.If you'd like to book your very own session with me, please get in touch!  I would love to hear from you.  And for more information on each type of session, drop me a line.  I'd love to chat!

Houston Family Photography Studio

I hope everyone had a great weekend and got to snuggle their babies, relaxed, or whatever makes your heart happy.  This morning I am blogging this Baby Photography Studio Houston session!  Sweet Piper was 4 months old when she came to see me and just full of sweetness.  We took to my Baby Photography Studio Houston to do her session and I just loved every second of it.This tummy time session was from one of my baby planner sessions, so I got to watch this little thing grow from being in her mommy's belly all the way up to this session from January.  We used a bunch of floral touches, creams and pinks to make this Baby Photography Studio Houston extra girly and extra perfect.I have known this family for several years as I had the honor of photographing their first baby (big brother) a few years ago. Now I am so excited to photographing baby sister for several Baby Photography Studio Houston sessions throughout her first year. We did her tummy time session in the studio earlier this year!  She loved sticking out her tongue. At the end of the session, she had a little bottle and took a short nap so we posed her in my vintage pram.  We were able to get some of the sweetest sleepy baby images of her. I can’t wait to see her again for her sitting session in a few weeks!

Baby Photography Studio Houston

I hope everyone's week is going well.  I am enjoying going through these sessions from last year.  It really humbles me to know that all these families, new mommy's and daddy's trust me to document the most precious times in their lives.  I am so grateful!  This particular session was from last April.  This was Melissa and Rod's first baby and we decided to go with a natural setting coupled with creams and navy blues.  These colors paired so well together and I just loved how this Maternity Photographer Houston session turned out.This couple chose to keep the gender a surprise until the baby was born.  By doing this, it just keeps a level of excitement there and makes that 'labor' day so much more intense.  Since this session was over a year ago, I am not 'spilling the beans' by saying that they had a baby GIRL!We shot this session in my favorite field with large oak trees and Spanish moss.  This has become a regularly requested location for my clients as it is beautiful and majestic.  I love that I can shoot there many times and each session looks a little different than the last.  This couple was super sweet and in love.  It was an honor to photograph them during this exciting time in their lives!Below are highlights from this gorgeous maternity session!

Maternity Photographer Houston

I hope everyone had a great weekend!!  I know I did and I was so thankful that the rain was not as bad as the weather man predicted.  I shot this Newborn Photographer Houston Tx studio session back in April of last year.  Sweet Grady was mom and dad's first addition to their precious family.  Grady's parents were just so in love and had some wonderful ideas to incorporate into this session as well.  I just loved the sweet details from this session.We used a variety of props from my Newborn Photographer Houston Tx studio.  Those props included crates, buckets, and Dr. Seuss books.  Mom brought some antlers because they loved rustic tones and fun colors.  With those themes in mind, I did love the extra touch that these antlers gave to the session.  Dad also brought his snowboard that we incorporated into it.  I loved how personal this session was to them while tying my own personal Newborn Photographer Houston Tx style into it.  A true collaboration with mama and daddy and their super awesome photographer ;) !Grady decided to wake up at the end of his session to hang out with us…and we didn’t mind!  A happy and awake baby is always a treat to photograph!  Parents appreciate having some shots with baby’s eyes open.  If you would love to see highlights from this adorable session, be sure to keep scrolling.  And if you'd like to book a session, be sure to get in touch, as I'd love to have you!

Baby Photographer in Houston

Another Beautiful Houston Senior Photographer session is on the blog today!  Gosh, shooting these senior photography sessions just are so much fun and get me out of my comfort zone of being a Newborn and Baby Houston photographer.  Meet Morgan!!  Morgan is a senior that I shot in my favorite field location in Houston and a quick stop by an urban location in Pearland.  We dressed her session with maroons and lots of other relevant and trendy clothes.  We worked together to choose her outfits and style her session.

Being a Beautiful Houston Senior Photographer I was pleased that I was able to style this session to be able to capture her youth and great sense of style.  The day of her session, she was completely pampered by my super talented hair and make-up artist team to get her looking and feeling photo-ready.   This team is also available for all of my Newborn and Baby Houston clients (mamas).   Every senior session booked with me includes professional hair and make-up by the best team in the Houston area!   We had a great time working together to make her senior session a memorable and gorgeous outcome.

Morgan, from the first time I met her, was always so polite, smart, and so hard working.  And now, she is a senior and about to head to Texas A&M later this fall.  I could not be more proud of the amazing woman she has become.  Smart, gorgeous, talented, one of the best cheerleaders you have ever met…those are just a few of the accolades I could shower on this girl!   So wen mom called me to be their Beautiful Houston Senior Photographer, I was completely honored.

Beautiful Houston Senior Photographer

Newborn and Baby Houston

I think the first thing to note here is the custom made rocking horse that this sweet family brought to Will's session.  I have a studio here in Pearland, but I also am an On Location Houston Tx Baby Photographer.  I take to my favorite field in Houston for most of my shoots because I love to work with the dreamy evening sunlight...this particular night was more overcast than usual but I still love how this session turned out!

Will is the first baby, so it was really fun to get to know this sweet family over the course of the year.  I also photographed Will's newborn portraits here in Houston.  We styled this session with all things boy in mind.  From props like a rocking horse all the way down to blue jean overalls for the clothing choice.  I just don't think we could have done better if we tried.

It is such a pleasure to own a studio in Pearland and also be an On Location Houston Tx Baby Photographer while watching these kiddos grow.  Being that the first year is so crazy important of a child's life, and having two children of my own, I know how fast the time flies after they turn one.  With that being said, I always encourage parents to participate in the one year session as they need to be in pictures WITH their children!

When Dad introduced Will's horse friend to him, Will was pretty obsessed with his new friend.  We finished this On Location Houston Tx Baby Photographer session off with all things boy.  From wooden crates, his trusty overalls, and of course.. bare feet.  It was just magical!

On Location Houston Tx Baby Photographer

I hope everyone has been enjoying their weekend!  I was slow going with the blogs this week because I am on a special trip to mentor one of the leading newborn photographers in the industry.  I needed to make sure I keep my blog up to date, so being that I am a Houston Baby Photographer Studio in Pearland, what better way to kick off this week's blog than share this adorable one year session?!This client was one of my baby planner clients from 2015.  I photographed their maternity, newborn, four month session, six month (sitter) session, and then her one year session (this one)!!  Being a Houston Baby Photographer Studio, it is just such an honor and great pleasure to see these babies grow.  We shot Camila's session in my trusty favorite Houston field.  I styled this session with lots of soft girl tones, pinks, creams and some pops of color here and there.  I really did love this one.  We also incorporated some family shots into this session, as mom and dad needed some updated shots of them.  I also always encourage family shots for the one year, as it is just such an amazing time in a family's life.  We also wanted to do some singles of this sweet girl, because, hey... who wouldn't?!  Look at that face!!We had so much fun incorporating all of mom’s ideas into this session.  She also planned a bumble bee birthday party that was so adorable!  We incorporated this theme into her cake smash portion of her Houston Baby Photographer Studio session. Houston Baby Photographer Studio

Ahhh, This session was so beautiful.  I am finally getting caught up enough to start sharing some pictures of these amazing 2016 families.  I am a Houston Tx Maternity Photographer and specialize in all things babies.  That means bumps to those beautiful and squishy babies that come visit me in my Houston newborn photography studio once they are born and are earth side. <3Meet Margie and Josh! Their session was so beautiful.  We went with accents of cranberry.  Mom wore cranberry color pants and a cranberry colored maternity dress for a winter-y look and feel to the session.  What says winter more than that deep cranberry red?  Mom and dad were just so extremely excited to welcome their new bundle.  Being a Houston Tx Maternity Photographer, I also have to admit that I get super excited when I see my clients have that beautiful glow and excitement about them.  I just think to myself how wonderful their life will be in just a couple short months when their new baby arrives.  A crazy and immeasurable happiness will wash over them when they hold their baby for the first time.  It's really beautiful!!!Back to the session.  Mom brought a fur shawl to incorporate and I made a floral crown to match and the results were magical.  Having my special field I use for a bunch of my Houston Tx Maternity Photographer sessions, it really went well when using that same location for this session.  I also photographed her newborn session in my Houston newborn photography studio and can’t wait to share it!

Houston Tx Maternity Photographer

Colin and I took to a more urban setting for his photography session.  I typically specialize in newborn photography, but I do wear the hat of an urban Houston senior photographer occasionally.  I should thank my past teaching career for opening those doors for me.  Colin was an awesome student and I really enjoyed catching up with him for his high school senior session.Colin was a Dawson HS senior last year and I had the pleasure of documenting this time of life for him. Here is the back story...Colin was one of my algebra students from 4 years ago.  It definitely makes me feel old!!  His mom remembered that I left my teaching career to be a photographer.  Since I am an urban Houston senior photographer on occasion, it was an honor to document this exciting time for them.  I was really happy to see how much Colin has changed and matured over the last few years and I know that he will accomplish many things in his upcoming years.When I do wear the hat of an urban Houston senior photographer, I do not find that using props is a must.  Instead, I generally use the location of choice to accent the portraits.  I also aim to document the personalities of each of the seniors I photograph.  Look below to see highlights from this urban Houston senior photographer session.

Urban Houston Senior Photographer

Being a new parent is so special.  I remember when I had my first baby how overwhelming, exciting, and scary it was!  There are just so many emotions to feel at that time.  So, when mom and dad found out that I specialize in beautiful Houston newborn photography and decided to book with me, it was such an honor.  It's really special when first time parents trust me to do such an important job.  I am forever grateful to them and to all my clients who book me to fulfill their beautiful Houston newborn photography needs!Keegan was such a beautiful little baby.  For her session, we chose colors that were soft and girly and would compliment her skin tone.  She had the most loving and genuinely amazing parents that I have ever met, so it was such a pleasure to work with this sweet family.  They were so in love and thrilled to have her to hold and to love on.  It was such a joy seeing how obsessed they were with this sweet baby girl.  As some of you may know, to get those beautiful Houston newborn photography shots, we like for baby to sleep for most of the session, but sometimes, the reality of that just does not always happen the way we want it to.  Keegan did sleep a great deal of her session, but she did wake for a portion of it just to say hi!  I do love capturing their open and awake eyes for some of the session, so I definitely was not complaining.  We used a white antique bucket, some lace, and included a small crate for this session.  Keep scrolling for the highlights, and make sure you get in touch if you'd like to book a session with me!

Beautiful Houston Newborn Photography

Happy Hump Day!  Looking forward to the weekend and being able to snuggle my babies!  This session was done at my natural light location here in Houston that I just absolutely love.  Being a Natural Light Houston Baby Photographer, the options are limitless, really, so I find that when I use my favorite locations, my sessions are kind of unique to me.  Since I know the light so well there, it just allows my creativity to flow and really shine.  Any who, enough about me, and more about this session and why I love being a Natural Light Houston Baby Photographer!We incorporated big brother and he was just so incredibly sweet and adorable.  A precious relationship that these two already share that really is special.  We used light blues, pinks, and yellows to style this session.  The colors went so well with the amazing lemonade stand themed birthday party.   We used a few props that I and mom brought along to really allow for the idea of this session stand out.  We used a white bucket, lemons, and fresh flowers.  Mom even brought a full-sized lemonade stand that dad built to the session!    Of course, we also used real lemons and lemonade too! We finished the session with a cake smash and she LOVED the cake.  This was such a fun themed session and being a Natural Light Houston Baby Photographer, it really made my heart ZING! :)  And I love when my clients vision come to life and I can create what they have in their minds.  It was just absolutely perfect.

Natural Light Houston Baby Photographer

Happy hump day! I decided to throw in a recent 2016 sessions to mix it up a little…although I still have tons of 2015 sessions to catch up on!  So here's this Beautiful Houston Baby Photography session!Being a Beautiful Houston Baby Photography specialist has some of the best job perks…one of them is that I get to watch tiny little newborns grow into the cutest babies! Meet Greyson. He came to visit me in my Houston-area studio for his sitting milestone session just a few weeks ago. We chose to do this session in the studio because it’s the perfect age to capture their rolls and baby details and we didn’t have to worry about the outdoor elements in this crazy Texas weather.This blue eyed baby boy was full of smiles and he also happens to have the sweetest parents! Greyson’s mom is a good friend from several years ago…during our just graduated college kid-free days. Our lives sure have changed since then! We are now both mothers and couldn’t be happier.You might have seen this family’s maternity session on the blog a few weeks ago. They are so photogenic and easy to work with and I just love photographing them. Well, I also had the pleasure of photographing Greyson’s newborn and tummy time sessions (which will both be blogged soon, I promise). As you can see, I’ve spent a lot of time with this family this past year. I usually get sad when we get to the end of their Baby Collections because it means I won’t get to see them as often. BUT I am excited to say they will be welcoming a new baby GIRL in a few months too! Which means I will be seeing them a ton in 2016 too! ☺ We incorporated a pregnancy and gender announcement during their studio session and I loved how it turned out! Happy Saturday friends!  Kicking off this blog post is the Miller Family. This precious bunch booked me to be their On Location Houston Family Photographer and I was so excited because they were out of state and were here visiting relatives.I just feel so honored that they trusted me enough to do this for them, especially since Houston just has so many other baby and family photographers to choose from. It’s very humbling and I am very grateful. OK! Now for the deets!We went to a local park in Pearland to shoot their family portraits.  This sweet family wore various tones of blue for their outfits. The goal of the session was to document sweet William and to document him turning 1. We even squeezed in a cake smash to just make this session the perfect session to celebrate his first birthday! It was a windy and crazy weather day…it started out sunny, then rained on us with lots of wind, then the sun came back out. We managed to work around the weather to make this a memorable session for their family. We also included some extended family photos with the grandparents and I know they will cherish those images with their sweet grandson.  The highlights from their sweet and perfect  session are below! On Location Houston Family Photographer

Happy day before Friday everyone! I'm prepping the studio for a newborn session but found a little time to blog...still catching up from all the fun in 2015!  I wore the hat of a Houston Baby and Family Photographer for this session.  Have I mentioned lately how much I love my job?We went to downtown Houston for this session and we just had so much fun. I have been photographing this family when they were a family of four and got the privilege to watch them grow to a family of five! Being a Houston Baby and family photographer and seeing these families grow and their babies grow really does make my heart so incredibly happy.In this Houston family session, we incorporated two outfits. The first one, we coordinated white outfits for just the sweet babies and then we added bolder colors for their family portraits. We also used an adorably cute bucket for the baby portraits and stuck to the beautiful scenery that this Houston location had to offer. With all that being said, this one was a bit stressful, actually! Because this sweet family was getting ready to move up north for hubby’s job, we were on a bit of a time constraint. And our original date got rained out but on a very positive note- we happened to get it in just two days before they moved! I was soooo happy I could photograph their family one last time in Houston and to help document their lives at this pivotal moment before a big relocation. I sure so miss them and can’t wait to work with them in a few years after they move back! We also got some of the cutest sibling photos of their adorable children. Highlights are below!

Houston Baby and Family Photographer

Up next on the blog (I am SO enjoying going through these past sessions) is when I got to be sweet Sophia's Houston Baby Photographer. I just loved this session so much because it screams all things GIRL!!We took to my trusty favorite field here in Houston for sweet Sophia’s darling session. With soft girlie tones, pinks, creams, ruffles galore and even a chandelier that we hung in a tree, this session was meant for a princess. We also implemented my ruffle teepee, added some pink balloons and topped it off with fresh flowers. It was just incredibly soft… and as I said before, majorly girlie! I just absolutely adored this session.Another reason that I loved this one so much is that this precious family was from out-of-town. Being a Houston Baby Photographer, I just love having the opportunity to meet these folks from out of town and giving them just a slice of what I am all about. Sophia’s grandparents also joined us for the session and we snapped a few with them too. Houston Baby Photographer

Man, this week has flown by! My baby girl has been recovering from one of those nasty viruses going around this season, so it’s hard to really tell where all my time has really gone this week. I do not mind the extra snuggles, though, so I guess that’s the silver lining when the babes are sick. Any who, work must go on and as such, this blog post is next! I got to meet Ezra and document the beautiful Pang family's Houston Newborn and baby Photography session.This Houston Newborn and baby Photography session was taken here at my newborn studio in Houston / Pearland. This session was styled around my personal favorite tones. baby boy muted tones. I feel that muted tones really just keep that timeless and classic look and that’s what I am all about. If you did not know or have not worked with me yet, I am a fine art photographer that specializes in getting these images on your walls and off your computer. I pride myself in creating works of art that can be hung or displayed in your home for years to come, without looking outdated. I think timeless and classic colors (neutrals) really achieves that which is why I love it so! <3Ezra was baby boy #2 (a dad’s dream, eh?!) and big brother was so so sweet and we were able to get several really amazing sibling shots. We also were able to incorporate family pictures into the mix which is always such a blessing since this time is so fleeting and emotions are still so fresh. Baby boy was awake for some of the time for newborn session, but he had great eye control and was happy so this allowed us to document some wonderful awake photos of him!As you can see in the pictures below we also were able to get some prop shots. Because… I mean… what’s cuter than a baby in a bucket, right?!

Houston Newborn and baby Photography

I hope everyone is having a great weekend and enjoying this gorgeous almost spring-like weather. Someone told me the bluebonnets were already blooming….in February! That tells you we have definitely had some warmer weather so far this year. I’m still catching up from all the blog posts from last year and here is another favorite. We did this session in Wichita Falls (we have family there) in March of last year. Having a Houston Newborn and Baby Photography Studio, it was nice to see other parts of Texas and what it has to offer.  It was a simple and fun cake smash/one year and also a fantastic baby #2 announcement!! I was beyond excited when my cousin asked me to photograph her daughter’s cake smash session.   She knew I would be in town a month before her actual birthday and the timing could not have been more perfect.  We also had some seriously gorgeous golden lighting for the evening which made for dreamy images.This session was filled with creams, pinks, and a fun pop of teal green.  It was all things girl-y and it literally could not have been sweeter. I took to my the famous cream ruffled tee-pee and incorporated a Jenny Lind pink rocking chair with flowers.  I was sweet, yet delicate touches to complete this gorgeous one year cake smash session.Being that I shoot mostly in my Houston Newborn and Baby Photography Studio, it was really fun to switch it up here by shooting in a completely new location for me…and if you keep scrolling, you’ll see just how adorable this little family is!!! By the way, baby brother was welcomed by their family in November and is such an adorable little guy, just like his big sister.
