Pearland First Birthday Milestone Photographer | Joseph

Look at this little guy! Mom and dad can’t believe that Joseph is already one year old, and I couldn’t think of a more memorable way to celebrate than with a fun photo session with me! I took this cutie pie to one of my favorite parks, and we had a blast! I brought all of my favorite props with me, including blankets, a wooden crate, and big blue balloons to add to the festivities!

Stealing Hearts with His Big Brown Eyes

The camera loves Joseph, and he was just captivating everyone with this big eyes and smile of his. I couldn’t get enough of his joy and happiness playing with his parents. Can we just talk about his outfit for a second? How precious! I fell in love with the red pants and striped hoodie, and it really stood out in the images.

When we finally pulled out all of the balloons, Joseph was so fascinated. I know he was loving all of the attention during his session, and we loved giving it to him. It is always a pleasure to create real memories for these special families, and I hope to see them again in the future for updates as he grows up!

What an absolute heartthrob! It was such a joy being Joseph's Pearland First Birthday Milestone Photographer and capturing these sweet milestone memories.

Houston Family Photographer | Emma's First Year

Emma is such a precious little girl.  She was so expressive and excited.  It was a great time capturing her one year photos along with some updated family portraits.  I had the pleasure of photographing this family's maternity and newborn sessions, so I was honored when they contacted me about capturing Emma's one year session.

About this Session

Emma is such a happy, smiley baby.  Her sweet face, big eyes and giant smile made for some adorable pictures.  The big bows and accessories were merely icing on the cake.  Emma made my job as a newborn photographer such a joy!  The images of her in the high chair with the smash cake were just too sweet (see what I did there?).I love how she wanted to share with everyone, including her adorable puppy pal.  They were best buds!

Time to Clean Up!

After getting down and dirty in the smash cake it was time to get cleaned up.  Her bathtub images turned out beautifully.  The bubbles floating behind Emma and the was tub made for a great picture, but more importantly a detail that got Emma excited.  But there is nothing cuter than a happy baby being cheeky.  The images of Emma in the was basin from behind are precious. Their family portraits were a lot of fun too.  This family has so much fun together and the session was filled with laughter.  Their love for one another is beautiful and it shines through the images.

Houston Baby Photographer | Grayson Turns One

I'm so excited that Grayson is one of my baby planner clients. It means I’ve had the pleasure of watching him grow up through the lens of my camera over this first year of his life. In this session, we captured his wide-eyed-wanderer, curious personality. It’s always fun to see what little characters those tiny babies from the newborn sessions turn into. Grayson was all the things you could dream for a little boy to be. Handsome, happy, adventurous, playful, cuddly with his momma, and brave like his daddy.

About Grayson's Milestone Session

By the time we reach the one year session with my baby planner clients, we have seen some pretty big moments together. As anyone would agree, a lot can change in a year.  This day and similar session are so evident of that. Mom had a fun little surprise to share at Grayson’s one year session…She’s expecting another baby and this time it’s a girl! We made sure to capture some of her adorable baby bump in one of my studio gowns.With one year under his belt, Grayson is going to make such a great big brother! He’ll definitely be able to teach his little sister how to dive into a cake and splash like crazy in the bath. Necessary talents for any proper one year old! <3

Houston Milestone Photographer | Happy Birthday Harrison

Oh this precious boy absolutely stole my heart! Just look at that sweet little grin. I have to admit, sometimes I wish I could just snuggle these sweet faces during sessions such as this. But, we had one goal in mind. And that was to capture his sweet personality during this family's life. As Harrison's Houston Milestone Photographer, this was such a sweet treat! He was in such a wonderful mood during his session. It made this bright afternoon so incredibly enjoyable.

About this Milestone Session

This first year of life is so precious. I think that's why I was drawn to this style of photography in the first place. When my kiddo's first made their big debut into our family's waiting arms, I knew I wanted to document each milestone. No mater the size, first smile, first bath, first words, first steps. This first year is just that. A year full of firsts. For new parents, this is an incredible time of growth and learning. And even more so for baby!With every sound, every new sight, little Harrison was soaking up each new interaction. Like a tiny human sponge, the amount of information he is constantly learning is astounding. You could see his eyes light up at every sound. A bug would zoom by, followed shortly by his squeals of delight. I adored working with and spending this wonderful afternoon with Harrison and his sweet mama. After we were done with the cake smash portion of the session, I was so excited to capture some bubble loving images.What a great way to sneak some shots of true delight and get little man cleaned up! I LOVED how this collection turned out. It's easily one of my favorite first birthday sessions to date for me as a Houston Milestone Photographer!

Houston Milestone Photographer | Tessa

Wow! One year old already! This sweet girl was on a baby plan with me as her Houston Milestone Photographer, and I have really enjoyed watching her grow over the year. It is so much fun seeing all of the new things she has learned from session to session. They grow up so fast, and that’s why mom knew it was important to capture every milestone of her first year, so they could smile back on it for many years to come!

About this Session

We completed her last session from this plan at the Houston Studio in downtown to create a different look. The first part of this session was a tea party theme to celebrate her birthday. I had a blast making the tissue paper flowers hanging on the walls. Doesn't it really make for a girly floral affect!?I could never forget this little princess and all of the laughs she has given me this past year! One of my favorite memories is how every time her mom would recite the words from the book Pout Pout Fish her sweet smile would light up the room! I am so thankful that I was able to capture so many heartwarming moments for this family! I hope to see little Tessa again soon!

Houston One Year Birthday Photographer | Fabiana

Goodness, how I adore watching these little ones grow! Fabiana was a newborn client of mine from last year. So needless to say, I was super excited when her family contacted me to take her one year portraits! I know it's cheesy, but I almost cried when I saw how big she's gotten! As a mama myself, I know how quickly that first year flies by. But for some reason, it still catches me off guard. Growth truly is one of the best things about this profession. It so wonderful seeing how much my clients have grown over that first year of life as their Houston One Year Birthday Photographer.I remember back to when she was just a tiny sleepy little thing. She was so good for her newborn session and continued that trend throughout this milestone session. Fabiana was full of spunk and smiles, constantly leaving me in a fit of giggles. Originally we planned to take these photos outdoors, but the Texas weather was uncooperative so we moved her session into my Pearland studio...and it worked out perfectly! I adore using this precious teepee for sessions just like this. I hope everyone has been enjoying their weekend!  I was slow going with the blogs this week because I am on a special trip to mentor one of the leading newborn photographers in the industry.  I needed to make sure I keep my blog up to date, so being that I am a Houston Baby Photographer Studio in Pearland, what better way to kick off this week's blog than share this adorable one year session?!This client was one of my baby planner clients from 2015.  I photographed their maternity, newborn, four month session, six month (sitter) session, and then her one year session (this one)!!  Being a Houston Baby Photographer Studio, it is just such an honor and great pleasure to see these babies grow.  We shot Camila's session in my trusty favorite Houston field.  I styled this session with lots of soft girl tones, pinks, creams and some pops of color here and there.  I really did love this one.  We also incorporated some family shots into this session, as mom and dad needed some updated shots of them.  I also always encourage family shots for the one year, as it is just such an amazing time in a family's life.  We also wanted to do some singles of this sweet girl, because, hey... who wouldn't?!  Look at that face!!We had so much fun incorporating all of mom’s ideas into this session.  She also planned a bumble bee birthday party that was so adorable!  We incorporated this theme into her cake smash portion of her Houston Baby Photographer Studio session. Houston Baby Photographer Studio

Happy Hump Day!  Looking forward to the weekend and being able to snuggle my babies!  This session was done at my natural light location here in Houston that I just absolutely love.  Being a Natural Light Houston Baby Photographer, the options are limitless, really, so I find that when I use my favorite locations, my sessions are kind of unique to me.  Since I know the light so well there, it just allows my creativity to flow and really shine.  Any who, enough about me, and more about this session and why I love being a Natural Light Houston Baby Photographer!We incorporated big brother and he was just so incredibly sweet and adorable.  A precious relationship that these two already share that really is special.  We used light blues, pinks, and yellows to style this session.  The colors went so well with the amazing lemonade stand themed birthday party.   We used a few props that I and mom brought along to really allow for the idea of this session stand out.  We used a white bucket, lemons, and fresh flowers.  Mom even brought a full-sized lemonade stand that dad built to the session!    Of course, we also used real lemons and lemonade too! We finished the session with a cake smash and she LOVED the cake.  This was such a fun themed session and being a Natural Light Houston Baby Photographer, it really made my heart ZING! :)  And I love when my clients vision come to life and I can create what they have in their minds.  It was just absolutely perfect.

Natural Light Houston Baby Photographer

Happy Saturday friends!  Kicking off this blog post is the Miller Family. This precious bunch booked me to be their On Location Houston Family Photographer and I was so excited because they were out of state and were here visiting relatives.I just feel so honored that they trusted me enough to do this for them, especially since Houston just has so many other baby and family photographers to choose from. It’s very humbling and I am very grateful. OK! Now for the deets!We went to a local park in Pearland to shoot their family portraits.  This sweet family wore various tones of blue for their outfits. The goal of the session was to document sweet William and to document him turning 1. We even squeezed in a cake smash to just make this session the perfect session to celebrate his first birthday! It was a windy and crazy weather day…it started out sunny, then rained on us with lots of wind, then the sun came back out. We managed to work around the weather to make this a memorable session for their family. We also included some extended family photos with the grandparents and I know they will cherish those images with their sweet grandson.  The highlights from their sweet and perfect  session are below! On Location Houston Family Photographer

Up next on the blog (I am SO enjoying going through these past sessions) is when I got to be sweet Sophia's Houston Baby Photographer. I just loved this session so much because it screams all things GIRL!!We took to my trusty favorite field here in Houston for sweet Sophia’s darling session. With soft girlie tones, pinks, creams, ruffles galore and even a chandelier that we hung in a tree, this session was meant for a princess. We also implemented my ruffle teepee, added some pink balloons and topped it off with fresh flowers. It was just incredibly soft… and as I said before, majorly girlie! I just absolutely adored this session.Another reason that I loved this one so much is that this precious family was from out-of-town. Being a Houston Baby Photographer, I just love having the opportunity to meet these folks from out of town and giving them just a slice of what I am all about. Sophia’s grandparents also joined us for the session and we snapped a few with them too. Houston Baby Photographer

I hope everyone is having a great weekend and enjoying this gorgeous almost spring-like weather. Someone told me the bluebonnets were already blooming….in February! That tells you we have definitely had some warmer weather so far this year. I’m still catching up from all the blog posts from last year and here is another favorite. We did this session in Wichita Falls (we have family there) in March of last year. Having a Houston Newborn and Baby Photography Studio, it was nice to see other parts of Texas and what it has to offer.  It was a simple and fun cake smash/one year and also a fantastic baby #2 announcement!! I was beyond excited when my cousin asked me to photograph her daughter’s cake smash session.   She knew I would be in town a month before her actual birthday and the timing could not have been more perfect.  We also had some seriously gorgeous golden lighting for the evening which made for dreamy images.This session was filled with creams, pinks, and a fun pop of teal green.  It was all things girl-y and it literally could not have been sweeter. I took to my the famous cream ruffled tee-pee and incorporated a Jenny Lind pink rocking chair with flowers.  I was sweet, yet delicate touches to complete this gorgeous one year cake smash session.Being that I shoot mostly in my Houston Newborn and Baby Photography Studio, it was really fun to switch it up here by shooting in a completely new location for me…and if you keep scrolling, you’ll see just how adorable this little family is!!! By the way, baby brother was welcomed by their family in November and is such an adorable little guy, just like his big sister.

Houston Newborn and Baby Photography Studio

Happy Friday friends! I hope everyone had a wonderful week and is ready for a lovely Valentine's weekend. I have been going through a bunch of my past Baby Photographer in Houston Tx sessions, trying to organize them, and trying to figure out what to blog next and remembered this sweet session…. Baby Addison’s one year old DONUT smash session!!! Yep, you read that right… she smashed donuts instead of a cake… and I L-O-V-E-D it!!We headed to my favorite field here in the Houston area to do this session. We focused mainly on sweet Addison but also got some family shots in there, too. Mom and Dad loved my ruffle teepee (a client fave), and we also used my mint green children’s chair and just a few vintage styled props. Have I mentioned yet how much I loved this unique baby photography session? I love all the props that we used, including the themed carrier from here, the soft colors of clothing that they chose… the creams… the pinks… the DONUTS, oh my! I just loved every inch of it. Mom wanted to do a cake smash, but without the mess…so she brought a variety of donuts for Addison to “smash”. I loved how different it was but still so incredibly adorable! And much easier to clean too! Win for all! <3  I think being a fine art Baby Photographer in Houston Tx is so much fun, especially for sessions like this!When I reflect on this session, it really makes me feel so grateful. Grateful for these wonderful clients of mine who are just so sweet, and who value documenting these beautiful photography sessions as their babies turn one year old.  I am so grateful that they choose me to be their Baby Photographer in Houston Tx.  And even though some babies are just a little unsure about the crazy/awesome lady with the camera (me), I still manage to get those beautiful smiles, their sweet spirit and capture who they are at such a young age.  And that's what this job is all about folks! ;-)Here are the highlights from this sweet session!
