Colin and I took to a more urban setting for his photography session. I typically specialize in newborn photography, but I do wear the hat of an urban Houston senior photographer occasionally. I should thank my past teaching career for opening those doors for me. Colin was an awesome student and I really enjoyed catching up with him for his high school senior session.Colin was a Dawson HS senior last year and I had the pleasure of documenting this time of life for him. Here is the back story...Colin was one of my algebra students from 4 years ago. It definitely makes me feel old!! His mom remembered that I left my teaching career to be a photographer. Since I am an urban Houston senior photographer on occasion, it was an honor to document this exciting time for them. I was really happy to see how much Colin has changed and matured over the last few years and I know that he will accomplish many things in his upcoming years.When I do wear the hat of an urban Houston senior photographer, I do not find that using props is a must. Instead, I generally use the location of choice to accent the portraits. I also aim to document the personalities of each of the seniors I photograph.
