This little man was one of my baby planners this past year and he sure was a cutie! Those big blue eyes just melted me! We did his nine month milestone session on a weekday evening, so we really had to work to get some smiles since he was pretty worn out from a fun day at school…but we managed to get some! Mom brought along the cutest "little man" outfits with the fedora, tie, and classic jeans and white shirt and they look adorable on him! We also got a few with big sister who happens to be one of the sweetest gals I know! This little guy turned one in May, so I am a little behind in blogging his sessions, but it's always better late than never. I sure am going to miss seeing this family every few months for their baby milestone sessions! I got to know them so well during little man’s first year that they started to feel like family to me...”K” family, you will be missed but I hope to see y’all soon!!
I was so honored when I was contacted about photographing this sweet baby boy's newborn session. He happens to be boy #3 for this new family and they could not be more excited to welcome him into all the FUN! I had the pleasure of meeting both big brothers at the session and they are just the sweetest little guys ever! It was important to capture a nice sibling shot for their gorgeous mom and I think we definitely succeeded. :-) Dad happens to be an Aggie graduate (whoop!) as well as an avid fisherman, so we incorporated both of these themes into baby boy’s newborn session. Mom brought the fishing props along to get the perfect fishing themed newborn photo! We had a great session with little Jace; he was a great sleeper and such a handsome little guy. Thanks W family for a great session!
I had a blast photographing this First Birthday session! This blog post has been planned for a few months because it was one of my favorite sessions from this past spring, but I am so behind on blogging that it's a few months late...always better late than never! I first got to meet this sweet girl at her newborn session last year. It was such a pleasure to see the beautiful baby girl she has become at her one year milestone session in Houston...she is just as gorgeous and sweet as her mommy! It's hard to believe she's already celebrating her first birthday when it seems like her newborn session was just last month. Mom had a hot air balloon theme in mind so we used a large basket, some balloons, a the rag tie banner to finish off the look. Baby girl was as happy as can be in her hot air balloon ride. ☺ I always love to include family photos in my one year sessions as I adore the images of parents interacting and loving on their babies. I know they will cherish these images too! My absolute favorite images are the very last ones giving baby girl a piggyback ride and mommy and daddy kissing...so sweet!!! Enjoy!
This baby girl was one of my very first baby planners. I had the pleasure of photographing Delaney for her newborn session, her 4 month/tummy time session, her six month/sitting session, and finally her one year/cake smash! She was truly one of the happiest and most "smiley" babies I have ever been around and rarely ever cried. Her mom has amazing style so Delaney always had the best outfits and accessories for her photo sessions. What a lucky girl! We went with soft pink and cream tones for her cake smash session and it looked so beautiful with her skin tone and her sweet personality. She had a blast playing with her cake, even though I don't think very much made it into her mouth. :-) I hope you enjoy a little sneak into her fun yet sweet cake smash session! I am so sad I won't be seeing their family every few months for her milestone sessions anymore...why does that first year have to go so fast?!?
This little man was a little over 4 months old when we did his tummy time milestone session earlier this year, so he was already a pro at rolling over and really trying hard to figure out how to crawl...slow down little man! I'm so glad we got his session done before he was really on the move! ;-) It was great to see one of my favorite maternity clients again, but this time in my studio just south of Houston. They are all such a beautiful family and their maternity session was one of my favorite sessions ever...the dreamy golden light gorgeous parents, perfect location. Luke has such big gorgeous blue eyes and gave me so many smiles during his session – ohmigoodness, what a little heartbreaker! One of my favorite baby stages is when they grab their little feet…it seriously melts my heart and I think every parent needs a photo of their baby at this fun age! I hope you enjoy a little peek into this creamy and neutral tummy time milestone session!
I have been waiting to share this session with the world since early this year. Baby C came to visit me at my studio for her newborn session in February and she slept like a dream for me! She is the first baby for this sweet family and I wanted to make her session absolutely perfect for them. Her mom loved the vintage yet organic look, so we incorporated soft tones and fabrics, a little bit of lace, and some muted pinks and purples. Pure perfection for a gorgeous baby girl. I loved how her photos turned out and look forward to working with this family again later this year for her 6 month/sitting session.Clients often ask how far in advance they should book their newborn session...its highly recommended that you book early in your second trimester to ensure availability on my calendar. I am only able to book a certain number of sessions each month, and I hate turning clients away (it really does hurt my heart!) so please make sure you book as early as possible! I LOVE working with families for the newborn sessions and understand how important it is to document this very fleeting stage of your baby's life, so the early you can book the better. I hope I get to meet your sweet new babies soon! And now for a sneak into this lovely newborn session... :-)
I truly loved working with this baby girl this past year. I had the pleasure of photographing her newborn session and then again for her one year session. She's a special girl with lots of smiles and personality so she is a joy to photograph! Her mom planned so many fun details for her one year session all with a girly, vintage, and sweet appeal. We went to my favorite field and just had FUN! Enjoy a peak into her session...I'm sure it will leave you with a smile!
The 6 month age definitely has to be one of my favorite baby stages...this is when babies are usually starting to sit on their own and LOVE to smile and their mommy & daddy. I got to photograph this sweet girl right around her 6 month birthday and she was a such a doll! Her parents also happen to be good friends of mine from college so we got to catch up while they visited my studio. Mom brought the vintage pink dress and white whicker bassinet to incorporate into her session and they were both perfect additions! Kennedy had mastered sitting up and was full of smiles and sweet faces. :) She was a joy to photograph and I can't wait to share her next milestone session with you!
I probably say this a lot, but gosh, I love my job! It's such a pleasure getting to watch "my" babies grow into little people during their first year of life! We did Cash's newborn session over a year ago in the Pearland studio and he came back to visit me again recently for his one year & cake smash session. Mom planned the cutest birthday theme using inspiration from the Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? children’s book and it turned out perfect! His parents are both graduates of Texas Tech so we threw a few football themed Tech photos in there as well. I hope you enjoy some of my favorites from his session!
These clients have been with me since the beginning of my business and I'm so thankful they keep coming back, especially when it means I get to meet & work with their new babies! They not only happen to be beautiful children, but some of the sweetest too. They came to visit me at my Pearland studio earlier this year for baby sister's newborn session and we had so much fun! You can see big brother was super cooperative and sooooooo good with his new sister. We stuck with softer neutral tones with hints of pink to match the colors of her nursery, and I love the way it turned out! I hope you enjoy a sneak into their session!
Meet Beatrice, a gorgeous baby girl! She came to visit me in my Pearland studio earlier this year and I had so much fun getting to know her sweet parents and planning her soft and sweet newborn session. This little lady is the 3rd baby in her family BUT she happens to be the first girl so that made it fun to work with some girly colors and fabrics. As you can see, she has some seriously kissable cheeks that made me want to snuggle her all day long! And it's always so much fun to meet new clients and then become good friends with them too. I'm so glad I had the pleasure of working with this family, making new friends, and getting to do what I love everyday! I hope you enjoy a sneak into her newborn session. <3
I had such a great time working this sweet family earlier this year. Baby girl Q and her family came to visit me at my studio for her newborn photos and she was so full of smiles!! I love photographing a smiley newborn! We stuck with soft neutral tones for her newborn session; creams, pinks, with slight pops of color...and I love how the colors looked against her skin tone. Both her mom and dad graduated from Texas A&M, so we definitely had lots in common and to chat about. During our conversation we found out we have several mutual friends from college, what a small world! Because of their Aggie background I planned a cute A&M themed set up, and that's where she gave us the biggest smile. :-) Looks like someone is already excited to cheer for her favorite school. So adorable <3 Congrats T family! Here are a few favorites from our session – Enjoy!
When this mommy-to-be first contacted me about photographing her precious TWIN babies last year, I was soooo excited! I don't get to photograph twins too often, so when the opportunity comes along, I jump on it! Working with twins gives me a chance to think outside the box in terms of posing and incorporating props...while also giving me a little bit of a challenge. Getting two babies calm, sleepy, and posed can definitely take some practice, but as you can see the outcome is worth all of the effort. Mom wanted to stick with neutral colors for their session and I love how it turned out, simple, natural, and timeless. The crazy thing is, these cuties are going to be celebrating their first birthday in just a few months...! I can't wait to photograph them again for their one year session. I hope you enjoy a few of my favorites from their newborn session!
Here's another sweet baby girl session for you to ooooh and ahhhhh over. I had so much fun working her awesome parents and getting to catch up with her mommy during Baby R's newborn session! I know her mom from our Team In Training endurance event training days (think marathons, triathlons, etc)...ha, it feels like a million years ago since I trained for anything! Anyway, when mom told me she was bringing her wedding dress to the session, I was excited. Then she told me it was all lace, and I practically squeeled! Lace, creamy colors, a special meaning...how perfect! I absolutely love how they turned out. Baby girl weighed in at over 8 pounds at birth, so when she came to see me, she was already so chunky and snuggly! And as you can see, she was/is also a gorgeous baby – I even caught the sweetest smile while she was in her daddy's arms…just perfection. Here are a few sneak photos from our session from last year– Enjoy!
This session was something I had in my mind for several months before I actually made it happen last year. I was needing to photograph something that was creative, different than my usual sessions, and just for me. When I started planning, I knew I wanted it to be fun, girly, and with a touch of vintage (anything vintage is an obsession of mine right now!). These two little ladies were the perfect models and a delight to work with! They let me do some "posed" shots, but they also got to play and be themselves as carefree children should. Plus, they had fun getting to dress up and play "princess". :) My awesome hubby made the rope swing for me (thanks honey!), and everything else you see in these images belongs to my ever-growing prop collection...which means all of these props are available to my clients for their sessions, woo hoo! I hope you enjoy a little glimpse into one of my favorite children's sessions.
This Houston maternity session was one of those sessions where you just KNOW you are going to love every.single.image. We had the most perfect sun-drenched evening, a simply stunning mommy & daddy (to-be), a leaf blower to achieve that perfect wind-blown look, and lots and lots of LOVE. I had so much fun getting to know this sweet couple and I know their baby boy is already the center of their worlds. They booked my Baby Milestone Plan but unfortunately I had to miss their newborn session because I was on hospital bed-rest with my sweet Penelope when their baby boy arrived. But, I am super excited to get to meet baby boy this coming weekend when I photograph his "tummy-time" session in the studio! Stay tuned for sneaks of thier adorable little man!!
I had the pleasure of working with Charlotte and her sweet family during her first year of life, and what fun we had! I have been friends with Charlotte's mommy since our days working together in oil & gas at BP. When I heard the news that she was expecting, I was so thrilled and excited for her! I was even more pumped to get the opportunity to photograph their family for all of their baby girl's first year milestones. This session was done right around her four month birthday in Houston and she was full of smiles and personality...and completely adorable I might add! Mom and dad even got in a few photos with her. Many times, the mommy+daddy+baby interacting with baby photos are my absolute favorite! You can totally just FEEL the love! I hope you enjoy a little sneak peek into her vibrant and colorful four month milestone session!
This post is long overdue, but it was one of my favorite sessions from 2014 so it deserved its own blog post. I had the pleasure of photographing this family in their home last year to document their sweet Georgia's 6 month birthday. Mom set up a beautiful nursery perfect for their sweet girl and I had so much fun photographing their family in this lifestyle baby milestone session. I love it when parents have their own visions for a session because it gets my creative juices working and forces me to think outside the proverbial "box". And when you get to photograph gorgeous people, it makes for some gorgeous photos. I hope you enjoy this little sneak peek into this sweet family's life and their pure love for their baby girl. I sure did love working with them!
One of my favorite parts of being a baby photographer is getting to watch my baby clients grow from newborns, to babies, to toddlers. The first year of a baby's life is full of so many changes at rapid-fire speed...it seems like the first year truly flies by! One moment they are tiny little creatures and the next they are walking and diving into their first birthday cake. Documenting these fleeting days of your baby's life is sooooo important! I currently offer a milestone package that includes photo sessions at mutliple stages of that first year of life: (1) a newborn session, (2) a tummy time session, (3) a sitting session, and (4) a standing session. Here is a perfect example of a tummy time session with adorable Camila! She was about 4 months old when these were taken and that is the perfect age to capture your baby's rolls and emerging personality. I am currently booking The Baby Plan Milestone packages for the rest of 2015 so contact me today to book yours!
I'm excited to introduce you to this handsome little man! I had the pleasure of working with this cutie a few months ago for his very first official Houston newborn photography session. He was such a handsome baby and slept so great for his newborn session. We did his session in the my studio located south of Houston and even got a few shots with his gorgeous mommy too! I loved the variety of shots and colors that we used in his session…and check out the adorable fox hat that Brooks modeled for us.☺I have everything we need in the studio for your newborn session; a large collection of hats, bonnets, props, wraps, fabrics, etc. My goal is to make your newborn session as stress free and easy as possible. But I do encourage my parents to bring a family heirloom or a special prop that may to incorporate into their newborn's sessions. Some parents do not want to be photographed during the newborn session, but I highly encourage at least one parent photos. I know new parents are tired during those first few weeks and getting yourself ready photo-ready can be daunting. But I promise you will cherish those images, as they are only little newborns this one time! What a treasure you have to be able to show them how tiny they looked in their mommy's arms as they grow into tiny humans.I hope you enjoy a few sneak peeks! I feel so blessed to get to work with so many precious miracles and pretty families!
